Acme Christian Thrift Store & Food Pantry
Acme Christian Thrift Store & Food Pantry is a Michigan 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation that fills a critical need among the working poor, single mothers, transients and other disadvantaged people who live in Antrim, Grand Traverse and Kalkaska counties by providing thrift-store donated merchandise at reasonable prices and using the revenue to operate a fully functional and well-stocked food pantry.
Here are some of our key features:

Building Expansion Project
ACTS moved to our existing building in 2012, and we are now completely out of space.
So we have launched a cool $250,000 project to enclose our existing courtyard, increasing the size of both our Food Pantry and Thrift Shop. We are also relocating and covering our receiving entrance to keep our donors dry in bad weather.
The United Way of NW Michigan helps ACTS fund our Food Pantry.
Volunteers Needed !
ACTS needs your help now in our Food Pantry. There is more local need than we can handle. We also need drivers. Please consider giving some time to this worthy cause.

“Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in or needing clothes and clothed you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’ The king will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’”
-- Matthew 25:34-40
Food Rescue picks up food from local stores and delivers some of it to ACTS.
