Receiving
Receive merchandise donations.
Sort donations.
Price donations.
Launder items that need to be cleaned.
Arrange for minor repairs to items.
Take newly priced merchandise to sales floor.
 
Fundraising
​Coordinator for Fundraising activities
Monetary contributions to assist in the purchase of food items for the pantry.

​Food Pantry
Assist with Pantry Clients (Paper work, data entry and/or guidance).
Assist pantry clients with their shopping
Restock Pantry with donated items
Assist with Food Rescue & other food deliveries.
Take Food Safe class.
Assist with special projects & classes.

​Errands
Pick up groceries.
Pick up donated items.
Break down cardboard and place in cardboard dumpster.
Take trash to dumpster.

​​Clean 
Public bathrooms (daily)
Floors (daily)
Other bathrooms & sinks as needed

​Maintenance & Repairs 
Minor repairs to building & donated items as needed
Shovel walkways in bad weather

Sherry Boucher - Volunteer Coordinator

​I volunteer at ACTS to help make it a successful nonprofit organization. I believe in the ACTS mission to help feed people in need. To keep ACTS open, there have to be volunteers who care, so I am willing to volunteer 7 to 14 hours per week to make this happen.

I enjoy keeping busy and also working with other volunteers and the friendly customers I meet. I find my work rewarding and satisfying.
